February 2021 - Release Highlights

Help you prevent payment fraud

When you add a vendor's bank account, we automatically send them an email letting them know that you have added their bank, and ask them to confirm the info. Don't worry, we won't block any payments, we just create more visibility and encourage your vendor to reach out to you if they see incorrect information.

Better visibility into how you pay your vendors

Filter your vendors via Pay by on your vendor list to quickly see who is paid by each method, and plan your payment scheduling accordingly.

Help your Vendor Direct vendors apply your payment correctly

If any of your Vendor Direct vendors require an account number or address for payment, and it's not already on their profile, we'll prompt you to enter it when you schedule a payment to help make sure your payment is applied properly.

January 2021 - Release Highlights

More visibility into your sync preferences

Now you can check your Company Profile - sync audit trail to see details about your "sync automatically" setting, like when it was turned on or off, and by whom.

November 2020 - Release Highlights

1. Verify your bank instantly and start scheduling payments faster

If your bank is eligible, we can now send test transactions instantly when you add your bank account using your account and routing numbers instead of online banking. No need to wait 1-2 days to verify and begin scheduling payments

2. Have even more control over users and banks in your account

Eligible accounts can now use Dual Control to maintain even more security and control over users and bank accounts. Use Dual Control to require a second administrator to approve changes to users or banks made by another administrator.

3. Immediately schedule payment or mark a bill as paid if no approval is required

If you have bills that don't need to be approved, you can now mark them as paid, print a check in your accounting software, or schedule a payment right when you create the bill. No need to save first!

4. Find payments that need attention faster

The Payments out tab is now split into 3 new tabs to help you locate and address payments that need attention faster.

  • All payments
  • Expiring Payments
  • Failed payments

October 2020 - Release Highlights

1. More control over your Vendor Direct virtual card payments

If your vendor has not yet processed a Vendor Direct virtual card payment after 16 days, and you'd like to reissue the payment as a check or ePayment instead, you can now do that in just a few clicks.

Simply click Void next to the payment on the Expiring payments tab of the Payments out page, and select the reissue a new payment option on the void screen to reissue the payment via the vendor's previous payment method.

2. Add new users to your clients and your console at the same time

If you are a console administrator, you can now add new users to your client accounts, and if the email domain of the new user matches yours, you can copy the same new users to your console, at the same time.

When you are adding a user to a client account, check a box to tell us you'd also like the user added to the console as a Team Member, without having to go add the user to the console separately.

3. Edit International vendor's beneficiary and payment currency without having to re-add the bank

If you have an international vendor who requests a payment currency change, or their account/beneficiary name changes, you can now edit them without having to remove all of the vendor's bank information and add it all back along with the changes.

On the vendor's profile, you can click Edit bank, edit those pieces of info, and save. The rest of the bank info is kept as is.

September 2020 - Release Highlights

1. Remind approvers right from a bill or credit

If your approver has not yet approved a bill or credit and you'd like to remind them that it is waiting on their review, you can do that right from the bill or credit itself.

Simply click Remind next to the approver you'd like to send a reminder and we'll send the approver an email to remind them that the bill or credit is waiting their review.

2. Get even more control over bill pay

If you sync with QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, or Sage Intacct, you can use the dynamic bank balance on the unpaid bills tab. You can see your current default bank balance from your accounting software to help you decide which bills to pay, and when.

The unpaid bills tab shows the balance of your default bank, based on the balance at the time of the last sync. If you select bills to schedule for payment, you can hover over the balance to see what your new balance would be, if you scheduled the selected bill payments.

April 2020 - Release Highlights

1. Easily control your vendors' addresses to keep them up-to-date

Keep your connected vendor records up to date even when you're linked to their account, and get payments out sooner, to the right place! While we do suggest letting the vendor manage their address in their own account, which will update your vendor record for them, we understand that there may be times this is not possible. In those cases, you can now unlock the vendor's address on your side, and update. Rest assured, this will not break the connection to your vendor, and we will automatically update your records if your vendor does update their address later.

2. Invite your Canadian vendors to enter their bank information

Avoid payment delays due to incorrect or incomplete bank information, and unnecessary back and forth, by sending invitations to your Canadian vendors. In just a couple easy steps, your Canadian vendors can double check their address, and enter their bank info, so you can start sending payments sooner.

3. Automatic void and reissue of Vendor Direct payments

Let us help you avoid late fees and save you time monitoring your vendor direct payment statuses. No need to worry if your vendor has misplaced their vendor direct virtual card number, or if they can't process payment. We will keep an eye on it for you, and if the card number isn't processed after 20 days, we'll automatically void the vendor direct payment, and send a new payment via the vendor's backup method - ePayment or check. There is no cost for the reissued payment or the void, and we will notify you and your vendor that a new payment is on the way.
