Five Nines

The Summary

Josh Palmer, Director of Finance at Five Nines, said Divvy was a no-brainer when he started to search for a new expense management solution that everyone at Five Nines would actually use (and love).

Before making the switch, their old bank and expense platform created a major bottleneck in the month-end expense process. The team hated using it and dreaded using the company credit card because tracking their expenses often took up to 3-5 days to even post. Not only that, but there was no mobile experience and no way to control budget limits for each user. We had no control as a manager to see what our teams had for limits.

Cyber security was obviously an important factor to Five Nines as well. With Divvy’s multi-factor authentication and virtual cards, everyone can rest assured their identity and information is secure—and at much less risk of fraud than before. “Our industry protects everyone from cyber security incidents, so we want to make sure the platforms we use are just as secure. So the mobile app and multi-factor authentication is phenomenal!”

Divvy has since made their month-end expense process at least 90% more efficient by saving Josh almost 5-7 hours a week. Plus, with no added software cost, Five Nines now saves thousands annually that they would otherwise have to spend on a third party platform that, according to Josh, would “never perform at this high level.”
