2021 State of Bookkeeping Practices Survey

Bookkeeping: Rebooted

After a year that called on bookkeepers to step up to the plate and become advisors, business stabilizers, and even therapists to their clients, it’s more apparent than ever that bookkeepers’ true value goes beyond tracking debits and credits.

The 2021 State of Bookkeeping Practices Survey is a follow-up to the State of Bookkeeping Practices Survey we conducted in 2016 and 2020. Our 3rd edition of the Bookkeeping Survey polled nearly 600 bookkeepers and accountants in the Summer of 2021 to determine their priorities for growth and emerging challenges for the year ahead.

Download now for a more in-depth look at the state of bookkeeping practices in 2021 and why the bookkeeping profession is due for a rebrand. Or, at least, a reimagining.
